Strength in NUMBERS

Strength in Numbers is an Asian American music project, bringing together 30 different hip hop musical artists, under the production of hit producer CHOPS. The project provides a platform for Asian American artists to collaborate, make their voices heard and establish a space for Asian Americans to showcase their talents.

In the latest Strength in NUMBERS profile interview, we speak with rapper, writer, editor and ultimate entrepreneur, JKey. He’s featured on the album on the song “Oh Yeah!” with rappers, Rekstizzy and Hoya. JKey talks about his start in music, early musical influences, current projects, and taking the leap into pursuing music and creative projects full-time.

This week’s Strength in NUMBERS interview, we speak with rapper, singer, and songwriter, Joanlee. Joanlee was featured on two songs off the Strength in NUMBERS album, ‘Chain Swingin’ with rapper Decipher, and 'All About Mine' with rapper Nikko Dator. We talk about how he started in music, the influence of his hometown Long Beach, CA, and the Strength in NUMBERS project.

the album itself will be available for download on iTunes etc. in the near future, but won’t include any of the extra music everybody gets from backing via Kickstarter or BackerKit.
